Besan ladoos or gram flour sweet balls are very popular as an Indian sweet enjoyed during festivals and celebrations. This sweet is traditionally made with standard sugar due to which lot of diabetics as well as health conscious people cannot enjoy them. We’ve created a diabetic friendly recipe for Besan Ladoo that can be enjoyed by all.
Diabetic Friendly Besan Ladoos
Monk Fruit sweetend besan ladoo for all to enjoy
- Besan 200g
- Sooji 40g
- Monk Fruit Sweetener or any other sugar alternative 210g
- Ghee 100g
- Cardamom powder 2 tsp
- Roasted cashewnuts and almonds 3 tbsp
- Melt ghee in a sauce pan, add Besan and Roast Besan till aromatic (20-25 mins on low flame)
- Let it cool down to room temperature
- Add cardamom powder and the roasted along with the sweetener of your choice
- Shape into round balls and serve
- They can be stored in an air tight container for upto a month
