Massaman curry is a fusion of Thai- and Indian-style curries, utilizing both a red-style curry paste (Thai influence) and dry whole spices like cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and nutmeg (Indian influence). We are adding chicken to this to make a tasty Chicken curry

  • 700gm – chicken
  • 4- tbsp. oil
  • 1c coconut cream
  • 6-8 tbsp
  • massaman curry paste
  • 3 tbsp-fish sauce
  • 1-2 tsp – sugar
  • 5-tbsp- tamarind
  • 6- black cardamom
  • 2 inch cinnamon
  • potatoes (2)
  • onions
  • eggplant
  • Salt -to taste
  • Turmeric – optional
  • Peanuts roasted - 50 gms

  • Heat the oil and fry the paste till fragrant.
  • Add the chicken and the potatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes
  • Add the coconut cream and mix well and simmer till chicken is cooked
  • Add the roasted peanut on top
