These are the details of the 4 Day cooking Class, where I teach an intensive cooking course for North Indian food. Over a period of 4 Days (8 sessions of 2 hours each) I cover making of Masalas, Dry Vegetables, Indian Breads, Rice, Basic Non-Veg Cooking, Desserts, Non-Veg Starters and Veg Starters. This class is ideal if you or someone you know is new to North Indian cooking and wants to understand the various options possible

Day 1 – Session 1 – Masalas

Onion tomato masala, no onion garlic masala, white muglai gravy. These can be used and modified to create various dishes. We will cover the following recipes:

  • Rajma – with tomato onion masala
  • Potato gravy without onion or garlic
  • Methi matar malai – muglai gravy

Day 1 – Session 2 – Dry Vegetables

In this class, I will teach you how to prepare the following dishes

  • Gobi and Potatoes
  • Spinach Paneer
  • Kadai Vegetables/Veg Handi/Veg Jalfarezi
  • Baigan ka Bhartha

Day 2 – Session 1 – Indian Breads

Learn to knead a chapati/ poori and create various Everyday Indian breads. Following recipes will be covered:

  • Plain chapati, plain paratha
  • Puri
  • Stuffed paratha (Aloo, gobhi), Also will share tips on doing different varieties of stuffing.

Day 2 – Session 2 – Rice

In this class, we will teach how to cook the perfect and separated non sticky basmati rice. We will cover the following recipes:

  • Chana pulao
  • Mixed Vegetable pulao (tava biryani)
  • Yellow moong dal pulao with raita

Day 3 – Session 1 – Basic Non-Veg Cooking

You will learn basic understanding of how to cook Flavourful non veg . We will make all the pastes from scratch

  • Butter chicken
  • Chicken do payza
  • Fish curry
  • Restaurant style Chicken Bhurta

Day 3 – Session 2 – Desserts

You will learn to cook delicious Indian desserts:

  • Rice / Seviyan Kheer
  • Atta ka Halwa
  • Custard
  • Carrot Halwa

Day 4 – Session 1 – Non-Veg Starters

Learn how to cook these delicious and mouth watering starters:

  • Reshmi chicken
  • Tandoori chicken
  • Chicken/Mutton Seekh Kebabs
  • Chicken/Mutton Shami Kebabs
  • Fish Amritsari
  • Achari Chicken Tikka

Day 4 – Session 2 – Veg Starters

Learn how to cook these delicious and mouth watering starters:

  • Dahi ke kebab
  • Kasturi paneer tikka
  • Matar mahkane ke kebab
  • Gulnar seekh
  • Tandoori bharwaan aloo
